Types of duties may include:
Clerical functions (copying, collating, word processing, filing, answering phones, etc.) Compliance with Federal Privacy laws when accessing confidential student information Level of supervision will vary from close to working independently Provide customer service to students, other KCC departments and the public Other duties as assigned to meet departmental needs Experience and Technical Skills Experience required will vary depending on specific job duties Appropriate verbal and written communication skills Related coursework may be required
QualificationsMust be enrolled as an KCC student in at least one (1) class Must be able to work hours required by your facilities Must be willing to work a minimum of 10 hours per week (some facilities) Work with frequent interruptions. Maintain emotional control under stress.
Physical demands may include all or some of the following:
Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up 25 to 50 lbs.
Learned physical skill is required to perform keyboarding functions.
Prolonged standing, sitting, and use of computers.
Frequently moving from stationary to sitting positions and from standing to walking.
Working outside in hot or cold conditions.
